Nengazyo

In Japan, People write and send Nengazyo as New Year’s greetings in December, to be delivered their friends and colleagues on New Year’s Day.

 

It’s similar to the Western custom of sending Christmas cards.

They write New Year’s message, we let our friends and colleagues know how they’ve been doing.

 

Nengazyo is usually designed the animal of the year out of the 12 animals in the Chinese astrological calendar.
